Any masters or doctoral student who is an active member of any chapter of SIE may apply for the Dr. Keith Davis Graduate Scholar Award. The student must submit a paper, entrenched in theory but extended to practice/application and analytical in nature, which presents an innovative perspective and/or solution to a contemporary management topic or problem to the SIE National Office. An appropriate management topic is one that is defined by the interest groups and professional divisions of the Academy of Management. These interest groups and divisions are listed below:

Graduate Paper Criteria
Papers should be between 15-20 pages in length and double-spaced. Appropriate graphs, tables, citations and bibliographic information should be included. A paper previously written for a class assignment (individual only, not a team assignment) may be submitted; however, a clean copy without grades or comments must be submitted. Please include a cover sheet with your name and institution.
Scholar Award Winners
Upon evaluation by the SIE National Executive Board, the student member writing the best paper will be judged the “Keith Davis Graduate Scholarship Winner” and receive a $1,500 cash scholarship. Based on the number of entries, second-place and runner-up entries may be awarded as appropriate. All entries must be submitted by March 15, current calendar year, for consideration of one of the Dr. Keith Davis Graduate Scholarships.
